I am director/filmmaker based between Los Angeles and London. I am interested in a space for two separate events, both are readings/workshops of text. The dates/texts are June 28, afternoon-evening, approximately 4 hours for the screenplay reading of my original feature film, Indigo Valley. Indigo Valley has received development at the Cannes Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival and was just selected as a project for pitching at Fest: New Director’s/New Films in Portugal.
The second is a reading of the new play text of Joan Lindsay’s Picnic At Hanging Rock which would take place on 23rd in the afternoon/evening for a total of six hours then with a two hour performance. Both would be for an invited audience.
Requirements:
– about 50 person seating option
– budget : max 60 pounds an hour
– relatively central
– size: I think this is dependent on capacity
– equipment (music stands + chairs)
